It depends on the product. We make cots and beds from solid wood, including pine, birch, beech and oak. Chests of drawers and wardrobes may also contain MDF and laminated boards in addition to solid wood. The materials used for each specific model are always listed in its product description.

In Latvia. Our main factories are located here, while some products are made in Estonia and selected items are produced by partner manufacturers in other European countries.

We deliberately do not outsource production to Asia. Having a factory just an hour away means we can visit and inspect each batch ourselves instead of relying on reports from the other side of the world. We design our furniture, mattresses and textiles ourselves, and our designs are registered in Latvia, which means we take personal responsibility for the quality of every product.

Yes, they are safe. We use water-based paints and varnishes — the same type used for children’s toys — and they comply with EN 71-3. Some models are finished with natural wax. Our finishes do not contain solvents or toxic substances.

Yes. Our baby cots are tested and manufactured in accordance with European Union standard EN 716-1:2017+A1:2019, the main safety standard for baby cots in the EU. Our textiles are OEKO-TEX certified, which means the fabrics do not contain substances that are harmful to health.

Directly on the product page. Baby cot product pages include a clickable “Safe product” icon that opens the certificate of conformity for that model. If the document you need is not available on the product page, email sales@yappy.lv and specify the model.

Cots with a 120×60 cm sleeping area are suitable from birth to approximately three years of age. House beds and junior beds with a 160×80 cm or 200×90 cm sleeping area are suitable from around two to three years of age and upwards. The recommended age is stated in each product description.

Choose the mattress according to the sleeping area: a 120×60 cm cot requires a 120×60 cm mattress, a 160×80 cm bed requires a 160×80 cm mattress, and a 200×90 cm bed requires a 200×90 cm mattress.

No. Mattresses are always sold separately and are not included with any individual product or furniture set.

No. Every product comes with step-by-step assembly instructions and diagrams, and all required fittings are included. Many products, especially chests of drawers, also have video assembly instructions, and we are continuously adding more. If anything remains unclear after reading the instructions, please contact us.

Slightly, yes. Every screen displays colours differently, and wood is a natural material, so the grain pattern and shade may vary from one item to another. If the exact colour is important to you, visit our showroom in Riga at Zemitāna iela 9, in the courtyard, Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 16:30. You can view the furniture in person and place your order on the spot.

Yes, if you are purchasing in one of the Baltic States — Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia. Three solutions are available through ESTO LV AS:

• YappyKids instalments — repayment period of up to 5 years, interest from 0% and agreement fee from €0. A decision is usually made in less than a minute.
• ESTO 6 — the total order amount is divided into six equal payments with no extra cost. The minimum order value is €60.
• ESTO Pay Later — pay within 30 days with no interest or additional fees.

Instalment plans are available to customers aged 18 to 70. The agreement is signed using Smart-ID or online banking. Instalment payments are a financial commitment, so please consider your decision carefully and read the service terms before applying.

Yes. Your card details are entered on the payment provider’s secure page using an encrypted connection. We do not see or store your card details. Once payment is received, your order is sent for processing and a confirmation email is sent to you.

First, check your email. A new payment link is usually sent automatically. If payment is not received within one working day, the system will automatically send you an invoice that can be paid by bank transfer.

Yes. The prices shown on the website are final retail prices including VAT. For orders within the European Union, the VAT rate of the destination country applies. For shipments outside the EU, the VAT rate is 0%, but local customs duties and taxes must be paid by the recipient. Delivery costs are not included in the product price and are added in the shopping basket.

Yes, directly in the shopping basket. During checkout, enter the company details — company name, registration number, VAT number and registered address — and the invoice will be issued to the legal entity. There is no need to contact us separately.

Yes, as long as it has not yet been dispatched. Email sales@yappy.lv and include your order number. Once the order has been handed over to the courier, it can no longer be cancelled. In that case, you may use your right to return the goods within 14 days of receiving them.

Enter the code in the shopping basket before payment and the discount will be applied immediately. Coupons and additional discounts apply to regular prices and cannot be combined with products that are already on promotion.

Courier delivery within the EU is free for orders of €599 or more. The exact delivery cost to your country is calculated automatically in the shopping basket and shown before payment.

Products that are in stock are dispatched within 1–2 working days. With priority dispatch, the order is sent on the next working day. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or public holidays.

Within Latvia, orders are usually delivered within 3–5 working days from the date of order. Delivery to other countries usually takes between 3 working days and 2 weeks, depending on the destination.

Yes, from our warehouse at Rencēnu iela 7B, Riga. The service costs €3.00. The warehouse is open on working days from 12:00 to 16:00. If the product is in stock, it can be collected on the same working day. Please note that this is a warehouse, not a showroom, so the full product range cannot be viewed there.

Yes, we deliver worldwide. The delivery cost to your country is calculated automatically in the shopping basket, so there is no need to request a quote or wait for a reply. If your country is not listed, email sales@yappy.lv with the products you would like to order and your full delivery address — we can ship your order even to Antarctica.

After dispatch, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website.

There are no customs charges within the European Union, as all taxes are already included in the price. For deliveries outside the EU, including the USA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada and other countries, local customs authorities may charge import duty, VAT or another local tax, customs clearance fees and carrier fees. These charges must be paid by the recipient. We cannot influence them and do not know the amount in advance. We recommend checking your country’s import rules before placing an order.

Email sales@yappy.lv within 72 hours of receiving the order and attach photographs of:

• the outer packaging from all sides;
• the damaged product or part;
• the shipping label with the tracking number.

Without these photographs, the carrier and insurance company may be unable to compensate for the damage. Once we have assessed the issue, we will send a replacement part, replace the entire product or offer another solution — whichever you prefer.

Contact us and we will open an investigation with the carrier. If the parcel is officially declared lost, we will resend the order or issue a refund.

The warranty period is 24 months from the date you receive the product, in accordance with European Union legislation. The warranty applies to all products, including furniture, mattresses and textiles.

The extended warranty extends the manufacturer’s warranty by one or two years. It can be added directly in the shopping basket during checkout, and the price depends on the total order value. From the first day, it includes:

• the right to return the product without giving a reason within 30 days instead of the standard 14 days;
• priority handling of warranty claims;
• a 50% discount on parts that are subject to natural wear, including screws, castors, the drop-side mechanism, runners and other fittings;
• free repair or replacement of parts in the event of a manufacturing defect;
• free advice on product use, including questions not covered in the instructions.

Email sales@yappy.lv, include your order number, describe the issue and attach photographs. Warranty service usually takes up to 15 calendar days. If a part needs to be ordered from the manufacturer, the period will be extended by the delivery time. Orders with an extended warranty are handled as a priority.

• mechanical damage, including impacts, scratches, cracks and deformation;
• incorrect assembly, transport or storage for which the customer was responsible;
• care using unsuitable cleaning products;
• signs of unauthorised repairs, modifications or structural changes;
• natural wear caused by intensive use, including play in castors, surface wear, wear of drawer runners and other metal parts;
• use in nurseries, playrooms and other commercial premises;
• damage caused by fire, flooding or other natural disasters.

The warranty covers permanent indentation of the sleeping surface measuring 40 mm or more in depth. The mattress must be used on a suitable slatted base. Minor natural impressions caused by body weight that are less than 40 mm deep are not considered a defect. To help the mattress retain its shape for longer, turn it over and rotate it every three months.

You have 14 days from the date of receipt to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason, or 30 days if you have purchased an extended warranty. The procedure is as follows:

1. Notify us of your decision by completing the form on the “Right of withdrawal” page or by emailing sales@yappy.lv and stating your order number and order date.
2. Wait for our reply and do not return the product without prior approval.
3. Send the product within 14 days of notifying us to: Rencēnu iela 7B, Riga, LV-1073, Latvia.

The product must be unused, in its original condition and original packaging, with the receipt or another proof of purchase. We therefore recommend keeping the packaging until the end of the return period.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product.

No later than 14 days from the date on which we receive your notice of withdrawal. We will refund the full amount paid, including the standard delivery cost. However, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or until you provide proof that they have been sent, whichever occurs first.

• products that have been mechanically or visually damaged by the customer after delivery.

• the order number or product name;
• the part you need — attach a photo or provide the part number from the assembly instructions.

This information will help us process your request as quickly as possible. Customers with an extended warranty receive a 50% discount on parts that are subject to natural wear.

Wipe the surfaces with a soft damp cloth without using abrasive or aggressive chemical cleaners, then dry them thoroughly. Do not place the furniture directly next to heating appliances and protect it from direct sunlight, as wood reacts to changes in humidity and temperature. Tighten the fittings every few months, as joints may loosen over time.
